hate numbers

I'm sick of numbers! Did maths for almost the whole day and chinese, plus science. Since last December, my momentum has slowed. Need to practise more.
I love Hana Kimi!! I like Wu Zun...Well, I suppose Jiro is also quite nice-looking..
Plus Ella's acting skills are so cute, which makes the whole show damn funny! I still like Wu Zun the most though. Sighs! tomorrow there's maths common test and the following day would be science. Sounds dreary doesn't it? It definitely is. My cousin told me today when we were chatting on msn that failing your common tests is alright, since they are so common. Well, he's that "happy-go-lucky".
You know, come to think of it, it has been so long since I've last painted...maybe I will do that next week- IF I have the time.
Think I'm mad...

CNY

Gah...i will need to go visiting tomorrow...help!
I dislike it...it's boring. Not that well-meaning relatives are asking so many questions about your life and bearing with the smoke. Most of my relatives are heavy-smokers, meaning I will have to suffocate there with a plastic smile fixed on my face. It takes a whole lot of self-control to do that you know. You'll have to look interested in celebrating this festive season and smile at everyone and shake their hands. I mean, it's not as if I dislike them or what. No offence here though! i mean, yes, I like my relatives. Then why does it seem like a chore to visit them? I don't know too. It's just that, it is really difficult to converse with them. Really. I much rather sit through a D&T lesson plus have another cross-country than to visit. My cousins and me are different. It's the same with my relatives. They speak mostly hokkien which I don't even understand save for some swear words which I rather not use. If not, they will speak Chinese. I know that's my mother tongue. Let me tell you though: Chinese is not my forte. which means if they speak to me in those two, I will have difficulties understanding and I will stare at them, thinking: what the hell are you talking about?!
Anyone gets the picture so far? It's rare for my aunties and uncles to speak to me in English, the universal language. My mum do sympathises with me. She at least knows what monotonous mental turmoil I have to go through every year.
So yes, I do like my relatives, I mean, without them, there wouldn't be my mum, and without her, I wouldn't be here at all. It's just that, we have our differences. BUT, I'm trying to learn hokkien now. So, I'm making an effort...keeping my fingers crossed...hokkien is quite confusing though. I always pronounce the words wrongly, coz it sounds so much like teochew. I don't know how to speak teochew but Cynthia, a friend, who is teochew, ever taught me a few words. Both sounds alike anyway. teochew and hokkien I mean.
lols, so sorry to those who have to bear my lamentings about my relatives and me. Not that you all will be interested in how awful my hokkien is...-.-

Locked Out

Yesterday, my mum and I locked ourselves out of our own house AGAIN. Even the locksmith can remember us coz this is like, the third time. He always give us a lecture, saying that we must be more careful and remember our keys. Not wanting to waste another $50 and getting another lecture, my mum asked me to make a sign saying "house keys'" and pasted it on the door. That way, at least we will be reminded. if we can't see the sign, then we must get our eyes checked.
Sighs, I'm missing my classmates from 6/9. Unfortunately, I can't see all of them next week. Coz most are going on Thursday. Sometimes, it's like a part of me gone. lols, I'm really gonna miss everyone...Even if we ever meet up someday, it will not be the same. It's quite weird being a junior after being a senior last year.. I even miss the boys - but not ren jie of course.
I'm a sentimental person I guess. Too emotional.

Waiting

I can't wait for cross-country! Coz that will mean no lessons, and i can get dismissed earlier. Yesterday's swimming lesson was quite fun, lols. We went to the pool earlier and splashed at the baby pool. Maybe next time we will buy noodles from cheers when there's swimming =]
Anyways, next Monday will be my first proper choir practice. Last Thursday we auditioned for the voice parts. It was quite fun. Elizabeth and Pearlyn were quite wacky and everyone fooled around while waiting outside the studio. Once they see people come out, they will ask what part they got. Most of 1C1 students got alto 2. I'm the only one in soprano 1 from my class. While waiting for the audition to finish, everyone[well, most of us] tried to hack into the school system. that's impossible though, coz the system can be accessed by handprints only. Others that were not fooling around or playing with the system thingy, just sat on the steps leading up.
Gosh, there's chinese common test on monday...Don't think I'm gonna pass.....

They postponed the trial cross-country @ Bedok Reservoir today...
Sighs...I was actually quite looking forward to it...no matter how daunting 5km sounds. I am quite doubtful if I can even survive that long distance but still, it sounds fun.
I think I'm gonna fail my science test...Gah...
There's still Geography to tackle and Maths next Monday..T,T
