Yesterday's Learning Journey trip was more about fooling around than being on a school trip. On our way there, I had a great headache =/ But it went away after being on the stable ground. The smell of the bus was the cause of it I guess.
We went to the gallery thing and walked one big round. Saw Sihui's "boyfriend" sitting on the bench there xD After that, we went to this so-called lift and went up to the 50-something floor. Yeah. Of course it's fake.
Then there was this mock family clinic reception counter. Pearlyn went behind it and became the receptionist. Then Tessa S came and demanded a HDB flat [ she didn't see the family clinic sign ]. After she realised her mistake, she went, "oh, then I want a baby!!". LOL. Jessis and Yvonne were playing with the blood pressure thing if I'm not wrong.
Oh, the food at the food court was relatively expensive! The waffle ice cream was pathetically small. Almost everyone bought it though...could see so many ppl walking past carrying that. Deb and I bought kueh to share. It was delicious. But after eating some, you will feel sick. That's why we felt like puking afterwards.
The guide allowed us to walk around the mall on our own for half an hour. Most bought cookies from Famous Amos to eat instead of doing the worksheet though. Oh, Pam and I orbited the class three rounds! But that just made me dizzy...hahas =D
For the feedback form, they asked us to draw something which made the most impression on us. Deb and I drew the oh-so-comfortable-sofa, the green kueh and the waffle-ice-cream-which-is-overpriced-but-still-popular. Overall, it was fun coz of the people who were there =]
Today was normal...But it is tiring seeing a teacher for two subjects within one day- especially if you dislike the subjects. Dislike Home Econs theory. We made pasteries today. They should just call it puffs. I mean, they look like puffs - add some curry = curry puffs. But they are so much more filling then curry puffs. After eating the two I'd made, I'd felt like retching. Something like the kueh incident yesterday. It's not so much as overeating : it's more like being sick of that certain food. =D my analysis is so nice, just like my toothpaste theory. Okay, I think this post is long enough already. ta

I went to Deb's YF at her church this evening. We met in school in the morning for the tablet roadshow and then went to J8 to wait for Sihui. Bishan is a weird place. Yes.
Anyway, we did our homework at Deb's house till three plus and went to her church. The people there are very friendly and easy-going but they all look really intimidating. All of them are so tall and slim. They played water games today. It was fun watching people getting sabotaged and soaked. Of course Sihui and I just stood at the side coz we didn't have extra clothes.

I forgot to blog about CCA open house. It was quite boring...the only fun thing to do was to snatch people away from other CCAs to sign up at our booth. Couldn't find my mortal to ask her to sign up though. I remember Amelia doing that to me last year even though I can't dance [ she literally pulled me across ].
Today's lesson was - guess the word - yes! you got it right! How clever! It was silent. We pratised some more broken chords and moved on to learn our first solo song: Andante in C Major. It's a nice song.
I'm still depressed over the shoes thing. Apparently, I can't wear my fantastic NewBalance shoes to school now and can only wear them on weekends. What's wrong with black and neon green streaks I wonder. My shoes are so freaking lovely T-T. Even Sihui agrees [ go read her blog ]. So, now, I will wear my old Nike shoes to school. It is very innocent and plain looking, I suppose. And no one will ever record my name again! =D See the halo over my brainy head? Yes, I know the halo is far too bright for you guys - try wearing shades.
Anyway, thanks to the advanced technology of our dear 21st century, my mortal more or less knows who I am. Yes, through blogs. As they say, curiosity kills the cat. Well, at least I know how Brenda looks like and she doesn't yet. Yay! I'm more mysterious then Deb! Or Deebwah.
I didn't go to Sihui's party today coz of three factors. One, I have my class. Two, Elmo's there, ready to claw me to death. Three, I'm far too lazy and I hate hougang. That place is just too depressing and can kill a person's spirits.
Now, I shall make some nice and pretty announcements here.
Deb, you still owe me one exercise book and it has been a week. Please don't forget the $15.65!! Otherwise I shall hang a chicken head on your door like what you said - since you like them so much.
Same applies for Andro =D Otherwise, I shall have to resort to poisoned darts or grenades. But I can't aim properly with darts though...and grenades may spoil public property...Ah well.

I went to Terminal 3 at Changi airport today with my mum and cousin to see his father off to US. After that, four of us, Ivan, 4th aunt, my mum and I went shopping. We first went to Heeren since I'd to get Sihui's really EXPENSIVE Gackt's Diabolos. They had Arashi!!! MatsuJun!!! Hahas=] But unfortunately, I couldn't find Alice Nine. =/ Therefore, to console myself, I ate unagi for dinner. Yes, unagi is good but quite expensive.
We ate unagi at MosBurger though. Hahas, I bet some will be thinking of unagi don and stuff instead of just an unagi rice burger =]] That was at Raffles City. We dropped by Robinsons to see 3rd aunt also. Have to go now. Ta.

My fingers are aching after playing broken chords so many times during class. The guy sitting beside me was muttering "shit". It's seriously difficult to play different broken chords... My pinky hurt like crazy. But at least the song was nice which made it all worthwhile.
Dinner today was good. My mum bought a bottle of soba sauce and green tea noodles. I love cold noodles with soba sauce!!! They are lovely!!! And there was also steamed salmon plus Japanese cucumbers =]]
I went to the salon to cut my hair on Friday evening. It was a disaster. Apparently, the stylist thinks that a trim is to cut it real short till I look like a total absolute geek. Yes, she destroyed the length and shape of my fringe. Wow, I look like some weird nerd now.
Saturday was spent searching for an inspiration for my abstract painting. Ideas came to me after looking at Joan Miro and Kandinsky's works and also from a Taiwanese variety show. The show was about this game that the artistes needed to play in order to get the reward [ which was a free three-day stay at some resort ]. If they don't form the shape of the block that will be approaching them from the front, they will be pushed into the water behind. That was where the concept of water came from =P

I've chosen who to be my mortal. It was a 'first-come, first-serve basis' so I'd just chose Brenda. Deb pointed her out to me when we were in the auditorium [ she was on council duty and I was with the choir ].
Anyway, I got to skip class for almost three periods as the choir had to teach the school song to the Sec1s. And I'd lost track of the number of times we sang it for the benefit of the Sec1s - hopefully we sounded okay. Then came the impromptu performance. Laura suddenly announced that we were going to perform two songs to welcome the Sec1s. We sang El Barquito and Joshua Fit the Battle Of Jericho. Those two were from the concert's repertoire. Afterwards we sang Happy Birthday for Miss Seow, Crescent style of course=] That was after we got down the stage.
This year, my form teacher is Mr Tham. Yes, the one in charge of late-coming. But, I've never been late and hopefully I can have a clean record all the time =D He's our History teacher as well. Anyway, the lessons today were mostly about what to bring for the next lesson and what is to expected of us as a class during lesson. We also had to introduce ourselves and say our new year resolutions. Although I have never made new year resolutions before, I just made up one as it would be rude not to do so. Mine was: to do well in my studies, and to at least try to lose more weight and grow taller. =]]
