I completed my Literature today. I've realised that I have got no affinity with Humanities and Lit whatsoever. All I wrote was crap - but at least I did do my homework.
The weather today was crappy. It was really, awfully, horridly, hot in the early afternoon and I'd thought I was gonna be steamed alive like those mantous.
I followed my mum to Aunty Marilyn's house to deliver my old reference books for her two daughters' use. We sorted them out the night before.
It was pretty much boring after we came home. I ate some really nice seaweed crackers and did my Lit and did a few sudoku puzzles.
I've just found out I have an entire collection of Ladybird books, thirty-one Enid Blyton books and some Roald Dahl books in my storeroom. All will be given to Aunty Rosy. She has just opened her own bookshop in Punggol. It's quite a small shop but people can order books from her and she sells both first-hand and second-hand books. Coincidentally, someone has just asked her for some Enid Blyton books. Actually, I didn't know I had that many books 0-0 Well, I wonder how much can they sell? I think maybe $1-2 for one book, afterall, they are so old.

School is gonna start soon but I'm still feeling lethargic and sluggish.
My mum and I went to Aunty Shirlene's house for the annual Christmas party on Sunday after my guitar class. We learnt this piece called Polka. I'm okay at playing alternating bass but uhm, strumming is where I sound weird. The guy next to me also had some difficulties.
Anyway, the Christmas party was okay. Just the usual. I brought along my beloved Tactics to read and taught an Aunty there how to play Sudoku. She seemed quite amazed at my Sudoku skills and said only people with high IQ can play it so fast 0__0 I feel flattered. Anyway, she called me shifu and said she will be better at the game the next time. Aunty Shirlene gave the uncle [ I also taught him ] Sudoku toilet paper. It's toilet paper with Sudoku puzzles imprinted on it.
I got a cute green bear from my mum for Christmas! It's so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and I got a T-shirt that's far too large and a Japanese tabloids English translated book from Aunty Shirlene
A hand-made bag accessory plus my late birthday gift: Bookmark, thermometer, necklace and a notepad from Aunty Clara
Chocolates from Aunty Azar
Photo Frame from Aunty lye Chan
Chocolates from another Aunty but I forgot her name

Yesterday's concert was a success although Las Amarillas sounded weird at the end.
During the walk-in rehearsal, I was the first to lead the rest on stage and almost tripped over my gown coz I was not really accustomed to court shoes. Which was why during the real thing, I pulled up my gown when walking down and up the steps so that I can actually watch my footing. My mum they were surprised that we sang as we walked in through the audience. But it was quite cool - since I was the first and people started turning and clapped as we entered. Disadvantage: need to watch my speed, not too fast and not too slow.
They gave us burgers to eat before performance and we went to the choral studio to practise and wait for our turn. I was really nervous for the first few songs but relaxed after that. The combine songs sounded really good.
Then came the thanking part. When Melanie was supposed to thank SA for inviting us, she called them St Anthony instead. It was really funny - imagine calling a boys' school a girls' school. Oh, and the guys thanked a lot of people.
After the concert, everyone rushed to studio one to change out of our gowns. After making sure that everyone has changed, our conductors told us that that was their last performance with us and that it was a great performance. Many of us started crying and before we went downstairs for the reception, all of us hugged Ms Tham and thanked her and Mr Tay. It is really sad coz they are great conductors. They were the ones who helped us sing better. And yes, we are gonna sing our best for them during the farewell party.
I didn't stay long for the reception coz it was pretty late and my mum had to wait for me. There was nothing much to do there anyway. The guys were eating together and the girls were crying.

I was just in time this morning. I'd thought I would be much earlier but coz I missed the train, I arrived at the arts con. at 7.25.
We did our warm up and set off at eight plus. Although I was still half asleep, it was quite impossible to fall asleep on the bus ride to SASS. The bus was quite old and the ride was jerky. Luckily my headache was really mild and I didn't puke on Anna's head. Anna managed to fall asleep btw...wonder how she did that.
St. Andrews Village is really BIG. The bus driver made a wrong turn and we ended up at SAJC at first. Anyway, SASS is also HUGE. They have lifts but it's only for visitors and staff.
We sang Away In a Manger first. It was a teensy bit confusing coz we learnt the solo parts instead of singing the same stuff as the altos. But things sorted themselves out. After that we went to the LT to practise our own songs.
Lunch was a big problem initially. Everyone wanted to go to McDonald's at first. Only after about 20 min, people started choosing different venues. Sop1s got to go to McDonald's though.
The guys have weird eating habits I guess. After one of them drank finished his iced milo, the others pushed their ice cream cones inside and gave the cup back to that poor soul. It was funny though.
After lunch, we sang the other two combined pieces - Mid Winter and Mighty Wonder. Mr Tay did most of the conducting as Ms Tham is ill.
My soles of my feet are really tired...gtg now. ta.

I went to my mum's new office this morning. Although it is smaller - the open concept makes the place less dreary and gives it a nice touch. While my mum did her work, I shredded a few stacks of paper and jammed the machine twice.
We ate takoyaki for lunch and went to shop for Christmas gifts. I still can't find the albums 絶景色 and Alpha by アリス九號. . Gah.
I saw this Caucasian outside this jewellery shop. She was so tall that she looked more like an angel than a human and she is so TALL. She is like 1.9m! Seriously, I'd thought it was a mannequin until she moved. Oh, and FYI, she was NOT wearing any stilts.
Then my mum and I had dinner at MOS Burger. I had unagi rice burger and my mum got a tsukune rice burger. Then came even more shopping for gifts.
Anyway, I'm really tired now so will not blog much. So long.

Today was my last day of CIP in Science Centre. Same for Evangeline, Anna, ZiYu, Edmund and Jovan.
I realise that I certainly have got very little or no sense of identity:
When i was primary three, the aunties in my CCA all said that i looked like a girl they used to know. When I was primary one, I was known to look like my buddy. In the beginning of this year, some mistook me for Ching Han. Then when I first cut my hair, some thought I was Sihui. AFTER Deb cut HER hair, they called me 'Deborah'. Then, during the holidays, after I trimmed my hair, Anna said I looked like Phoebe. Now, no thanks to Jovan, people started calling me 'Clara' coz I look like her - whoever she is.
Anyway, I did puzzle cart for the WHOLE day. Almost felt like sleeping...it was quite boring doing the same thing for both durations. I had some difficulties explaining the puzzles in Mandarin for the people from China. During the afternoon, I shuttled between the thaumatrope and my own group coz it was really dreary. Did two thaumatrope but didn't bring them back coz my mum would only throw them away later.
Oh, and I finally found someone who reads 8days too. Yes, finally. Too bad this week's issue is delayed due to the stars awards. Jovan said that the auntie told him it will be out only at eleven today. What's worse was that I'd forgot to bring my novel and sudoku puzzles - meaning I had nothing to do but listen to music on my way to Jurong East. Gah.
Anna and I don't have the license to steer the push cart for the puzzle thingy - that's what the staff said. We had to major accidents while trying to push it out of the stairway. We first banged into the staircase then into the door frame. By then we were laughing too hard. XD
BTW, Anna went absolutely bonkers this afternoon. After the tesla coil demonstration couldn't work, she went into despair. Freaking many visitors out in the process.
I saw Clement at the MRT station in the evening. I didn't recognise him at first. After he said hello, I was like, just staring blankly at him. Anyway, he took the train with me all the way to Tanah Merah - he was meeting some people there.
I will miss doing CIP at Science Centre. Afterall, the other volunteers are all spontaneous and fun people ^^

I watched 'The Golden Compass' with my mum yesterday. The graphics were really good and yes, it's great. Eva Green looked as beautiful=]]]
We took the shuttle service bus to Ikea from Tampines MRT station after that. Bought some stuff.
About three people didn't come for guitar class today. We learnt how to play more notes and practised C and G7 chords. Learnt another eight bars from the book. Want to watch some television programme now. Till later.

CIP was no more unusual than any other day. I was grouped with PeiQi and Clarissa today. Jovan and I kept walking to and fro coz we wanted to switch groups but didn't dare to. Gah. I didn't really talk much coz the two girls kept talking about the guys that were in there Primary school class. I can't imagine someone so close and still in touch with their p6 classmates actually. And somehow, I managed to get myself cut by the scotchtape dispenser - much to the shock of PeiQi and Clarissa.
I went to Uncle Colin's wake with my mum at hougang afterwards. My mum and I took a taxi home after paying our respects. The taxi driver must have had a childhood ambition of being a F1 racer. My mum was like clinging on for her dear life while he swerved to and fro. I lost count of the number of times my head banged against the back of the seat as he push on. AND, he cares not for traffic rules. In fact, he broke quite a lot. How. Wonderful.
Then my mum asked the driver if he usually drives this fast. He said no and that he was speeding as he thought that we were rushing for church service. Right. The Catholic church opposite my house doesn't have service that late. On most days, it ends at seven if there is any.
The thing was that, even after we reassured him that we were not even the slightest bit in a rush to anywhere or late for anything whatsoever, he STILL drove as if the world's end is just minutes away and that there is an atomic bomb ticking behind us. It felt more like a roller coaster ride than anything.
I love Alice Nine. 's Alpha album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want the album ' Alpha!'. Yes, I know I'm in love with this band. I seriously love everything about them - their looks, their songs and stuff. Finally I found a Cosmic World pv. It's the new single from Alpha!. This is one of my many favourite songs by them =]]]]

I love being an exhibit explainer!! It's much better than doing activities booths and puzzle carts!!
Anna and I got to be guides in iSPACE in the afternoon. I was in charge of level two and Anna level one. I love it!! Anna didn't last long downstairs though - coz no one wanted her help. Hahas. I approached a lot of people and they didn't mind my help though. Many thanked me =]]
Although it was cold, the place was so cool! Of course, DAT exhibit is much more advanced than iSPACE but this place is already very advanced. I did a digital drawing and played with almost all the exhibits ^^
Had such a fun time. I really wanna be exhibit explainer there again!! It's fun walking around with people, leading them around, telling them about the exhibits. Although you must try to memorise which way to go and what to do at each station, it's great ! =]]
Got caught in the rain while walking to the station after dismissal though. Andro and I were totally squishing our way to the station. My socks were so soggy and squishy. And I could even wring water out of my skirt. At least I had the sense to bring my windbreaker with me everyday =]

I watched 'Enchanted' with my mum this morning. Despite what Sihui says, it's a hilarious show. Love the 'breathing pizza' part. The singing is very good too =]]] Yes, go watch it if you love comedy romance.
After my mum drank her coffee at some food court, we went to the salon near our place to trim our hair. For my mum, she altered her hairstyle and had it trimmed to shoulder length. I chose to let the other guy cut it instead of Jessica coz I'd wanted to try someone else. He is good. As in, this stylist is much trendy than the lady. Guess age does make a difference. The only problem with him is that he took a long time just staring at my hair trying to think of HOW to cut my hair and he used far too much strength when rubbing shampoo into my hair!! T____T
My head felt like mashed potatoes. Why does every hair stylist like to use so much strength? Anyway, that guy had a lizard tattoo on his finger and I almost freaked at first coz I thought it was an insect. 0_______0 He had many tattoos.
I love my current hairstyle... And, I didn't change my hairstyle again - only trimmed the ends and thinned the back and top. My mum looks pretty with her hair curled up at the ends [ coz she already has natural curls ] and very much younger.
