I prefer to listen to instrumental songs these days. Weird. I love the song 'Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence' by Ryuichi Sakamoto. Yes, it's the song that was played during the "The Leap Years" advertisement.
Today's Math paper was hell. I can see that the highest I can get for this paper is D7 T-T
I pity the guy who's helping us print the class hoodies. He had to go to his office and we spent quite a long time just to decide on one colour. Oh well. I feel guilty.
I think the Sec1s are getting their TPCs today. I saw the fujitsu people coming to our school this afternoon. Well, we're getting ours soon too so cheer up people.
BTW, we got back our Chinese test papers today. 陈老师 marking speed is remarkably fast. Whether or not is that bad news is yet another matter. Because of the comprehension - which was tough. But it was the passage cloze that struck the final blow. Uwahhh.

The movie The Leap Years which was adapted from the e-novella, Leap of Love by Catherine Lim seems like a heart-wrenching story. It seems a bit tragic-like to me - imagine meeting the one you love only thrice within a span of twelve years, that is to say, meeting every leap year like the title suggests. But somehow, it makes you curious about how it will turn out.
Anyway, today my mum asked her colleague, aunty Sybil, on her religion. That is to say, if I should go for classes. But I'm already so old. Anyway, many have said that the classes are boring. There were and are still instances whereby i kinda envy people who were already born into a certain religion. Maybe that's why they can remain to committed and devouted to their religion? Ah well, you can say I'm just either plain lazy or not ready to be committed even after all these years.
I went to an ex-schoolmate's blog and saw so many familiar faces. Most of which were my lower primary schoolmates. Not 6/9. It seems weird. Not seeing these people daily while they are so close to each other now. And so many people have changed ever since last year. Hahas, so far, my post seem to be a tad too sentimental, no?
Everyone's waiting for their TPCs now I guess. While there's the long wait and the feeling of finally able to get a TPC like the seniors. Plus the novelty of having a newer model than previous years, I feel that it would be kinda a great responsibility of not losing it or having it stolen ><
Last week's guitar class was like the usual. Just that we have started on strumming. Although it sounds much better, it is definitely difficult to play. After all, the beautiful-sounding F chord is always there to hinder our chord changes.
The only advantage of having exams and such is that we get to go back home right after our paper has finished. Unfortunately, we don't have that privilege tomorrow as lessons will resume after Math after like three days of common tests.
I have been having nightmares lately. Rather, I have been getting the feeling that I had been having nightmares. After all, I don't bother to remember what exactly happened in my dreams - I can only remember the people involved. It's the weather. Blame it all on the humidity.

I wish to paint my nails black. If not for the need to go back to school during holiday.

Crap.
That was basically what I wrote for History.
I have been feeling down lately but that may be because of just the usual tiredness.
I have this feeling that I'm gonna fail Literature. And most probably History. Darn.
Need more motivation.
Deb exclaimed that I have two [strands of] totally white hair. Really, is that such a big problem. Anyway, hopefully, I wouldn't be getting anymore white strands anytime soon.
I didn't blog about a lot of things that happenned last week. For choir, we're learning 'Ave Maria' now. But I can't remember anything that I'd sang last week. Anyways, the song sounded lovely during combined. Oh, Ms Ong [ the new conductor ] taught us many new stuff about effective vocal techniques and to sing in a richer voice while breathing properly. She let us sing 'Can't help falling in love with you' on Valentine's Day XD All Disney songs are great =]
I have to study now. MAY be taking a slight hiatus...but that depends if I can be bothered to post.

Like last year, they gave a longlonglong speech about Total Defense Day during morning assembly while they let us stand with our mouths shut.
I love this year's emergency drill. Sec2s were the first to reach the field coz we're the at block G which is right next to it. And our level had absolutely no sense of urgency. Everyone was like,"Oh, the drill is it? Okay, let's go." And off we go, strolling like 50m to the assembly area and we're still the first. The rest of the levels came rushing down after a while. Oh, and we were there for like one hour plus - they couldn't find one missing soul. Anyway, although it was quite boring, people were passing on pokes. Tessa gave me a blade of grass. Deb was in a grass fight/riot at the back. Tsktsk, counsillor, you're suppose to stop people from plucking those poor grass blades. She was plucking them with her two hands and throwing them down people's blouses. [ Shakes head ]. Luckily it didn't rain yesterday or today, if not, our skirts would be soaked with wet mud. It freaks me out - just thinking about it. I hate sticky, damp mud.
Okay, I think I should stop here before I start to sound like a spoilt brat =]

mammoth-y headache

I feel like some obese mammoth has just plopped down on the back of my head. Yes, that's how bad my headache is. Oh, I feel ill. =/
We made cupcakes for Home Econs lesson today. It would be better if we could make muffins though. Anyway, it was quite tiring when using the creaming method to mix.
How nice it will be if Valentine's Day can be considered a public holiday. Every morning, I will see this guy waiting for his girlfriend at the traffic junction and they will walk to school together. So sweet. It's like those mangas XD
Darn, I've just remembered that there's Math Quiz tomorrow. I guess that's Ms Loo's Valentine's gift to us. Chinese test today was ... slightly tough. The comprehension at the back was seriously beyond my comprehension. Yes. I didn't know what on earth was it about. Only something about Singapore being a gracious society. I had to read it at least three times before answering the questions. It was all chim-ology before the third time. Attempt number two caused me to finally achieve enlightenment. It was about the table/restaurant manners of typical Singaporeans during buffets. And what we can do to improve this problem and it is still possible to have Singapore be a gracious society. At least that's what my linguistic skills told me 0_0 If I'm wrong, then I'm so dead.

No one except Yvonne is submitting designs for the class hoodie thing =/ Hello, the more you delay it, the later you will receive it. I think the whole class hates me now. Coz I'm like, always being so extra or scolding people and I'm so irresponsible. Uwahhh.
I went to Thye Hong centre with Geraldine and Xinyi after school. I feel so guilty towards them and Deb. Sorry Deborah!!! But Xinyi and Geraldine waited more than ten minutes for me and it's impossible to wait for Daoxin [ she takes such a long time! ] EVERY Tuesday when I need to rush off. Sorry to both sides. Anyway, I discussed and more or less decided on the details for the class hoodie. All we have to do now is get the designs and the sizes =D I feel so accomplished.
For the whole of today, I was half-asleep. While playing floorball this morning, I didn't even know what on earth am I doing. I just hit the ball and looked at it blur-ly. I think I was like a zombie. And my ears really hurt. I wonder why everyone is shouting in my ear this days. I'm very sensitive to loud or high pitched sounds you know. I know someone who can sing real high and it gives my shivers when he does that LOUDLY. So during the birthday celebration today, Deborah really hurt my ears when she kept shouting. And Rachel has such a loud voice too. I never knew 0_______0
Oh, and even if there wasn't any mass run today, there wasn't any difference. First, coz I couldn't find Deb to record her temperature, I was late in submitting the temperature list. So I had to run all the way to the GO. But unfortunately, no one told me that I must also submit the wellbeing form. Of course, I ran all the way back and had to complete the form and run ALL the way back just to submit that form. Therefore, I can safely say that, I did run today...although it wasn't by free will.

once upon a time

I feel excluded from my cousins. Not that they try to exclude me in any way. It's just that we all have grown apart. When Dennis mentioned that they haven't been to my house and that they still remember playing with Barbie dolls last time at my old house brings back memories. I still remember Dada [ not his real name but that's what everyone calls him ], Dennis and I used to play with Lego every Sunday. Don't remember playing with Ivan though. He was always bullied and would cry. But now, I think I talk more to Ivan than the other two. And Dada's vocabulary is simply colourful. He has changed a lot and the changes aren't for the better. Sadly. Hopefully Dennis wouldn't get influenced by him too =/ But it's impossible for people to remain unchanged, can they? Gone is the initial child-like innocence.
We played 'Heart Attack' using hands today. Poor Yu Sheng was not welcomed by the rest. It was quite fun though.
I've realised that time can change a person greatly and it's kinda sad that I'm not close to my cousins anymore. But anyway, it's not like I can really understand vulgarities that are too profound for my humble ears.
I feel so fat. After eating CNY goodies, I feel like a fat walrus. Gosh, I think I've put on like 5kg...darn. For this CNY, my dressing is quite extreme. Yesterday, I wore this olive dress that made sitting difficult. The length of the dress plays a big part in the way you sit- I realised that. And for today, I wore this skull tee with a dark vest over it plus black slacks. Oh, and my brown cap. Looked quite boyish.
Holidays always go by too quickly...how I wish CNY can be dragged longer. I'm dreading common tests. Doom lies ahead.

This year's CNY concert is much better than last year's =D
The dancers were great. But if you compare our school's dancers and the China dancers...it's quite a big difference. Anyway, all the items were great. And there was this Chinese opera singer. Gosh, I wonder how high can she go. I was sitting directly under the speaker and yes, I could hear her extremely clearly and it was...well, blasting. I like the peacock dance the most. That dancer's figure was PERFECT. Yes, if only I have that kind of figure. Everyone, let's start dancing religiously and gain that slim, slender figure! I bet she is not 100% human. Does she have bones to begin with? She can really dance.
After the concert, everybody was rushing to the toilet. Including me - I jumped around while waiting for my turn.
I find it awkward to go back to SHPS to visit. I mean, there would be Sec1s to visit the teachers. And it would be quite weird seeing your exclassmates when you didn't make any effort to keep in touch. Anyway, I doubt many will be there. Jolene will be going though.

Yes, I'd realised that i have not been blogging for eons.
I can't paint. Serious. Painting is so troublesome...Markering is a much better task. My art work was splattered by my black 'Painty' marker yesterday evening. I forgot to close the cap and yup, I shook vigorously. I don't need to type about what happenned next as I don't see why I should waste the effort of that while you can figure it out already.
I stayed back almost everyday this week. Never knew decorating a classroom was this tough. I mean, why must the ceiling be so high up? Anyway, Chinghan and Elizabeth were shouting some MCR [ I think ] songs into my ear when I was trying to paste the stuff onto the walls on Thursday. They were following me about while singing their poor lungs out. Thanks a lot guys but you don't have to sing so many love songs for me =D
At least I now think that Alleluia is a nice song although I still make some mistakes when singing it. Some of the Sec1s came in to see us practise. They spent most of their time doing their homework though. If I were them, I would have gone home.
And I got a bruise from those darn skates. I mean, that guy really tightened the strap around my ankle. I think blood circulation stopped while I was skating. The bruise still hurts very much thank you. Gah, I gtg now. ta.
