Eight Demerits!

I missed my usual six o'clock train to redhill this morning. Had to wait for the 6.10 train to come. Which explains why I was later than usual and once I stepped into the classroom, Tessa [Y.] suddenly shouted "Eight!" at me. She was teaching us the language, Gibberish, which she excels at xD
Our PE teacher changed to Mr Mun...Mr Samat is retiring in August. Mr Mun is relatively nice but he didn't let us run...only taught us basketball tactics and throwing - all the basic stuff. What didn't make sense was teaching us to use a ball, orbiting round our knees, waist, and head. Anyway, it was quite fun, if not for the poor stamina of Pearlyn. She kept complaining about her nails and fingers. Lol, it is right that she's in performing arts, not sports.
After missing three Home Econs lessons, we finally went to the cookery room. I was the last again, as the class was split into two and my partner was, again of course, Xin Yi. Anyway, for our glutinous rice, we forgot to add salt and oyster sauce. Well, Xin Yi was in charge of adding the oyster sauce and me, the salt. We both forgot....only remembered the light and dark sauce, HAHAH. Btw, you know, Xin Yi has never cooked or touch the knife before in her life [pity her maid who does it all], I kept instructing her. She then called me shifu. And the knife we got was quite blunt. So when Ms Teo said to cut off the stalk from the mushroom, Xin Yi got so fed up by the knife that she asked me why not just use our fingernails to rip it off. We can see that she will not pass any hygiene test if she wants to be a cook.
