It's a pity that I couldn't find the NJC people after the Chinese New Year celebrations in school yesterday. They took the the trouble to go all the way to Tanglin Road and I missed them!! D:
I think it was because I was also rushing to open the classroom doors before the rest of the class need to wait outside. Oh well.

Like the past two years, I gave out angpows to the rest of my class. And likewise, Yimin finished all the sweets and junk in her angpow in less than an hour. Some just can't wait.
We were late for Physics SPA as Ms Chua ended her lesson late. I could barely keep awake during E Math though. Thank goodness Ms Chua didn't say anything - or maybe she didn't notice. I really hope that is the case. I've been trying very hard this year to keep awake for all my classes. However, I dozed off during Geography this year. I am really sorry to Ms (Magdalene) Sim. I really need more sleep. I'm sleeping three to six hours now.

Anyway, as I was nodding off during E Math, all my inking on my second word document worksheet that Ms Chua prepared for us is in a mess. That's bad. It's good that it isn't some unknown topic.

Ms Chee was angry that we were late for SPA but gave us a Gotcha ticket in the end. It's a CNY gift to us. I got a better micrometer yesterday too. One with no zero error, making my life so much easier. I was the first to finish the experiments at my table too.

Chemistry was really rushed as we had to assemble in the auditorium in the middle of our lesson. Ms (Jerene) Sim went through the slides with great speed and I was inking the slides furiously.

This year's CNY celebration was alright. I realised that our school is pretty biased. Once the little boys came onstage with their young partners and danced their item, many of the girls cheered of them. In fact, when the boys went up first, they got one of the loudest cheers. Their performance was really good though. Although I find that the poor little girl in the middle who does not have a dancing partner looks pretty lonely amidst the rest of the dancers.

Zhuo Min and Rosi were amused by my amateur attempt at lip-syncing. I think I still have a long way to go with that. Overall, the concert was fine, with the usual dance items and stuff. My leg muscles went stiff like they do every year during school concerts.

This year's secondary ones need to improve on their school spirit. Everyone agrees with that. When we had our customary school cheer after the concert, everyone took part in it except the Secondary Ones. In fact, this is the first time the Secondary Ones didn't take part. When it was my batch, we had no qualms about cheering and this year's Secondary Twos didn't have any problems too. That is bad. Maybe they just need a lot more time.
