Oh, and our class went to Kinderland last Friday, to tell them two of the children stories our classmates wrote. My group's story about the traffic light's Red Man and Green Man was picked and it was interesting watching the reactions of the little kids around us while we told the story. There was also this girl, Natanya/Natania, who was not shy at all. She answered nearly all the questions asked by Ms Stella and hugged me when she heard that there would be a story about bears next week (she's scared of bears). The children were just all so cute!
Happy Birthday, Mummy!Thank you for being there for me always.

My mum celebrated my birthday with me a day before as it falls on a choir practice day. We went to Plaza Singapura and walked around the place. The first place we shopped at was Cotton On. The branch there was almost twice and a half times bigger than the one in Tampines Mall. More clothes were available too. I bought two skirts and my mum bought a sweater for herself.
Next we went to the upper levels and went pass this baby spa outlet. They wrap this float thing around the baby's neck and let the baby dangle precariously in a circular tub that is at least one metre deep. My mum was really intrigued by the whole process and just stood at the window staring into the shop. I don't really fancy being dunked into the deep water with just a float loosely taped around my neck if I were the baby however. It just isn't my idea of fun.
I do love showering and bathing though. The longest bath I took was near two hours. When I was that baby's age, I was playing with toy ships in my own shallow tub of water at home. It was those tubs that were also used for soaking clothes which are meant to be hand washed. Actually you can just create a tub at home and soak your toddler in some hot water. Funny how people actually spend so much money on their children even when they can just do it on their own. Then again, maybe when I become a mother in the future, I may just do the same.
Dinner was at some Japanese cuisine outlet. I had curry omu rice. It was delicious. Then again, an omu rice lover like me will like the dish as long as there is omelette in it. My mum and I later shared a pretzel from Auntie Anne's. I didn't really fancy the oily taste though.
We later watched the Korean movie, My Girlfriend is an Agent. It's a really hilarious romantic comedy. I could hardly keep from laughing.
The following day, I went to school for choir practice and was greeted by many wonderful presents and cards from my great friends. Maybe it's because I now have a Facebook account, but I also received many birthday greetings. Oh, and Yibin, I will try to reduce the number of posts spent on Kpop. =]
Sungmin has just recently gotten a kitten, Hyaku. And the kitten is most probably a Siamese, one of my most favourite cat breeds. I think Russian Blues, Siamese, Japanese Bobtails and Ragdolls are really pretty cats. Ah well, I don't think I can ever care for a pet till I can get rid of my zoophobia. I wouldn't have the time to be truly responsible for one either. And there will be added expenses to worry about, plus the problem of fleas, rabies and other health problems.
It's late, therefore I will post about my class gathering later.

Unlike most people who only have one flat foot, I have two instead. Sometimes I wonder if I should seriously consider the option of undergoing surgery. If I do intend to have that, now isthe time to do it, since it's holidays and I won't be able to walk for some time with a surgery on both feet. But I'm kind of afraid and arches don't help at all.
Maybe it's true that as one ages, the things one desires will change drastically. This will be my wish list for this year. I don't think anyone will buy me the CDs though...since it's not easy to get them here. But if you are serious in buying them for me, you can order them from Evangeline's friend, Eileena. Just ask Evan :D
And I think most will just forget my birthday. It was really ironic last year, the most of the people I expected to give me presents or wish me a 'happy birthday' didn't and those I least expected to did so for me. And this wish list is more for taking up a space in my post, rather than to coerce people into buying them for me since most won't.
This Birthday...

Today's sectional was more or less focused on the Secondary Ones' singing techniques. They are improving and making good progress. In fact, I'm proud of them for making the effort to do so. :D
Lunch at Shokudo Food Bazaar at Raffles City with Rosi and Anna was fun and the saiyaki bento set was absolutely filling and delicious albeit a little pricey. We then browsed around the shops on the basement level. Papermarket is filled with lots of interesting, uncommon art materials. I would definitely go there again.
I haven't started on my actual holiday homework yet. I've only been doing the additional homework given during the lessons this week which are due within the same week too. D:
Let's hope I will be able to make good progress in my singing for choir and my homework... ...

I think I'm the only one who didn't go out after the examinations. Well, I couldn't find anyone to go out with and I didn't plan anything D:
My last paper ended this morning. I kind of sympathise with those who need to go back to school tomorrow to take the Chinese Literature paper. It's great to go home earlier than those History students today too.
Before the doomed day for the release of the papers next week, I shall immerse myself in my Kdramas - You're Beautiful and Shining Inheritance (!!!) - and my Super Show concert DVD which has been lying in under my textbooks (Suju!!!!!!~)
Ahhh~ It would be nice to be able to have the holidays start next week... ...
One more day to SHINee's comeback on Music Bank!!! They really went through a radical change...

After reading Teryne's blog, I still can't understand what's so interesting about a beautiful name. A few people went quiet after that remark was made and had a shocked expression. Was it that strange?
This year has been a great year for me. I think.
I will miss the girls from 2C1 2008 and their wackiness. I will also miss Ms Li and Mr Tham. Ms Li has got to be the first teacher to stand on the table to introduce herself. Maybe it's her height.
I have also given up on growing taller as I think my height is quite alright after all.
For this year,
Our class had the absolutely crazy Amazing Race that took a long time and a huge effort to plan.
Thank goodness it was successful although the participants came back all tired and hungry.
There was also the trip to Sentosa where we had the water bombs and games.
Then there was the memorable kueh-gorging session I had with Deborah during the Learning Journey trip.
Singing Christmas songs in the middle of the year with Pam.
Falling down on almost all the slopes within the school compound - I only have the service road left to trip over.
Learning the African Pantsula dance. I really miss dancing actually. It was really fun.
I will also remember History lessons. Whereby I will just stare blankly at the screen, till Mr Tham had to ask if I'm alright as I looked really blur.
Suet Yi and me sleeping through Geography lessons. Ms Sim would always knock on our tables as we were sitting right at the front. She didn't really get angry since I did well for the subject though.
A new school rule was made, stating that no girls are allowed to use the Gents in school.
I grew 2 cm taller.
There is now wii in the canteen.
The plastic spatula melted while I was frying an omelette. I kind of forgot that it was made of plastic. My mum got me a new spatula since then. And my cooking is actually quite nice, just that there a minor accidents every now and then.
I had a great time with the people at WYCF. Yibin and Evangeline will say this too I suppose. And I still have the songs playing in my head at times. I also managed to embarrassed myself there too. From choking on water during a workshop to hyperventilating over a trivial matter.
The choir managed to find out something from Yibin. At least they are enthusiastic in learning the set piece 'The White Horses' now.

I went to Thye Hong centre with Geraldine and Xinyi after school. I feel so guilty towards them and Deb. Sorry Deborah!!! But Xinyi and Geraldine waited more than ten minutes for me and it's impossible to wait for Daoxin [ she takes such a long time! ] EVERY Tuesday when I need to rush off. Sorry to both sides. Anyway, I discussed and more or less decided on the details for the class hoodie. All we have to do now is get the designs and the sizes =D I feel so accomplished.
For the whole of today, I was half-asleep. While playing floorball this morning, I didn't even know what on earth am I doing. I just hit the ball and looked at it blur-ly. I think I was like a zombie. And my ears really hurt. I wonder why everyone is shouting in my ear this days. I'm very sensitive to loud or high pitched sounds you know. I know someone who can sing real high and it gives my shivers when he does that LOUDLY. So during the birthday celebration today, Deborah really hurt my ears when she kept shouting. And Rachel has such a loud voice too. I never knew 0_______0
Oh, and even if there wasn't any mass run today, there wasn't any difference. First, coz I couldn't find Deb to record her temperature, I was late in submitting the temperature list. So I had to run all the way to the GO. But unfortunately, no one told me that I must also submit the wellbeing form. Of course, I ran all the way back and had to complete the form and run ALL the way back just to submit that form. Therefore, I can safely say that, I did run today...although it wasn't by free will.

It was due to this that she hates birthday parties.
I love this skin. Really. It's perfect.
My mum gave me a book and a really lovely, heart-warming card. =]]]] The book was about a true story, of a woman, with 16 split personalities - two of whom were men, lived her life. 16 personalities. Imagine, one moment a woman and another a man 0_______0 then followed by a young bimbo, then a babaric person - okay, I'm just freaking myself out here. Shall start on the book after this.
I'm a bit amused that my wish for it to rain today came halfway true. I wished that it would rain. But it stopped raining after morning. I think it would help if a wish were to be more specific, like: let it rain for the whole day.
Anyway, it wouldn't be practical for it to rain the whole day since my relatives came over to celebrate my birthday with me. We went to Eastpoint as Tampines Mall would be crowded. Had table barbeque. I think we took too much. I'd almost wanted to puke after eating so much. While the adults were finishing up the meal, Ivan and I went over to Popular to browse through their stuff.
Then came the shopping. My fourth aunt and my mum were discussing over how on earth do you seat at the extendable table in v.hives. The table was extended such that, it's very difficult to seat two people instead of one as what it was supposed to be. Coz the table leg was in the way. So maybe one of them may have to sit with the table leg in between. Anyway, the guy there said they just have to squeeze or sit like what i've mentioned. -.-
Off we went to challenger's after that and on to some indie fashion shop with lotsa cool stuff. Fooled around with the hats and necklaces. I really like caps...
My aunt and mum found this really cute bermudas and asked me to try it. Turned out that it looked nice. Since it was my birthday, my aunt bought it for me =]] So nice of her. My relatives also bought me Boys Like Girls album. =]]
On to Mr Bean we went. We sat there and drank our soya bean drinks and walked back to Tampines.
Shall stop here. It's getting late. Ta.
Me, you and My Medication
Found my way to the highway
I don't wanna tell you the state I'm in
I've had too much to smoke too much to drink where have I been
It feels like the stars are getting closer and the sky is closing in
And I don't know where to begin
We're all looking for something
To take away the pain
Me and you and my medication(Making the best of it)
Love is just a chemical creation(Will it be permanent?)
Synthetic sensation
Me you and my medication
The way back to the right track maybe you can help me find the door
Is it too much to ask, too much too fast, too much to ignore
It feels like your body's getting closer but you seem so far away
Medicine make it okay
We're all looking for someone
To take away the pain
Me and you and my medication(Making the best of it)
Love is just a chemical creation(Will it be permanent?)
Synthetic sensation
Me you and my medication
Can you feel it? Do you feel it?
Coming down
You gotta get up
Can you get up
Off the ground
Can you hear it?
Can you hear me screaming?
Can you feel it? Do you feel it?
Coming down
You gotta get up
Can you get up
Off the ground
I wanna hear it
Wanna hear you breathing
We're all addicted to something
That takes away the pain
Me and you and my medication(Making the best of it)
Love is just a chemical creation(Will it be permanent?)
Synthetic sensation
Me you and my medication
