This year's Speech day and Learning Festival had been integrated into a single day. Therefore there were more activities and it was much more hectic than last year. It was really tiring though.
For today's performance, it wasn't really our best but we did what we could at that time I suppose. Ms Ong forgot to cue our section in for our first page. Jolene said that we sounded freaky as our notes were very high =D She was standing right behind us on-stage with the band.
The audience was not really encouraging though. Most of them were still chattering during the band's and choir's performance D:
Right after the Speech Day performance, I had to rush to return the stand and change my top. I then went for my ushering duty. Most of the schools were late. I must say that it was quite fun but hectic. I had to carry refreshments for the performing groups and the drinks were HEAVY. I was running up and down, just to remind the groups of the time and that they are supposed to come down at least 10 minutes before their performance.
After the refreshments part was done, Ms Ang actually gave us drinks to drink too as there were many extras =DDD
We then gave out the Learning Festival leaflets to anyone who wanted them. I gave many to the band people =D It was quite difficult though as most of the visitors didn't want it or had already taken theirs at the foyer. When I gave the last of my stack, I went over to the teachers' stall to help in the selling of their items. I managed to persuade Clare, Christy, Ms Ho and a few others to buy from me. Ms Ho was really kind!! She immediately bought some snacks from me =]]]]
Before that, I'd also helped the 2C1 stall to sell their kuehs for a short while. Jessie and I cornered a Fairfield Methodist Priamary boy and coerced him into buying one XD
When Jessie saw that there was a girl from the same school walking nearby, she asked if they knew each other and when they said yes, she made the boy buy a kueh for the girl XD Poor boy.
